Joullian Zinfandel, Carmel Valley, 2007

Dick Sias is the father of Zinfandel in Carmel Valley. Starting on July 17, 1984, he planted our mountainside to a classic field blend of pre-Prohibition Zinfandel clones, Primitivo, Aleatico, Alicante Bouchet, Carignane, Grenache and Petite Sirah. All varieties are co-fermented - Rhone Style - to enhance color, bouquet and mouthfeel. The Sias Cuvee Zinfandel is fabulous with today's zesty, internationally spiced dishes, yet still qualifies as everyone's favorite sippin' wine. Alcohol 14.8% by volume.
