WILLAMETTE NOIR

Est. 1983 stewardship of the land. Our estate vineyards are located on the iron-rich volcanic slopes in the Willamette Valley Appellation. Pinot Noir made from these blocks exudes a sense of place with wonderful perfume, richness of mouthfeel, complexity and balance. Technical: Pinot Noir Clones: dijon 113, 114, 115, 667 and 777, pommard and wadenswil. Soil Type: jory (iron rich volcanic) and laurelwood (windblown, glacial loess) including missoula flood sediment and pisolites. Barrel Regimen: 10 months in French oak/30% new oak. Barrels Produced: 422. Harvest: October 18-26, 2010. Sugar at Harvest: 20.7 degrees - 23.6 degrees brix. Peak Drinkability: 2013-2017. Oregon certified sustainable wine. Alc. 13% by vol.
