Marcelina is a collaboration between veteran Winemaster Marcello Monticelli and third generation Winemaker Gina Gallo. The grapes for this barrel fermented, sur lie aged Chardonnay were drawn primarily from vineyards in Carneros where grapes are ripened by the warm sunshine and cooled by the San Pueblo Bay breezes. The combination of a unique microclimate, premium vineyard sites and masterful winemaking yields a well balanced, elegant Chardonnay with melon, kiwi and peach nectar fruit flavors that is uniquely Carneros.
