Add over top before baking: caramelized onion slices and thinly sliced prosciutto, sauteed bacon or pancetta; sauteed pieces of chicken or beef; roasted grilled vegetables or sauteed shiitake, Chanterelle or porcini mushrooms; chili flakes and cracked pepper.
